Best of Opposite Sex

Izzy goes "BOS" at the Hanover Kennel Club show in Wilmington, NC. on Sunday Oct 12th. Big thanks to Matt Hendrix for handling her to this big Win. Izzy is back in the ring at the RDLRC Specialty in Smithfield NC next month.

Popway kicks butt again!

Big Kudos to our freind Nancy Poplin (Popway labs) for a tremendous weekend. Nancy's boy "Gage" took Winners Dog both Saturday and Sunday in Charlotte, also, Nancy's girl "Raisin" took Winners Bitch on Saturday, Raisin is a litter mate to our girl Izzy, Izzy placed second both days to her sister. all in all, other then the rain we had a great time showing.

The Tarheel Cluster tally

Well, the 6-day mega Tarheel cluster has come to close and we found it to be a very rewarding week.

Izzy opened the week on Tuesday by winning her class and then taking Winners bitch for her first two points.

We took Wednesday and Thursday off and finished the week with a first and two seconds in a class of seven nice girls.

Our next outing is the Piedmont Kennel shows in Charlotte in two weeks.

Saturday update

Izzy won her class of 7 today, and then got a real nice look in winners from Judge Mrs. Beth Sweigart. ultimately though she didn't get the win or the points, but we're happy with today's results and her performance in the ring. We'll wrap up the weekend tomorrow in Raleigh at 10:00am.
